Deliciously Healthy Blueberry & Cherry Smoothie (dairy free)

We all know how hard it is to eat a sufficient amount of fruits in the winter. By the time you buy them (if they are even ripe) and get them home, they go bad within a few days.

Thus, making it so much harder to stay healthy and eat the right portions of fruit in the winter months.

This is why I think smoothies are incredibly handy and important in the winter, they help to make sure you get your fruits and vitamins in, because FROZEN fruit!! They also serve as a sweet treat as well!

In this smoothie you will find orange juice, coconut milk, frozen blueberries, frozen cherries, banana, collagen, ginger, and pomegranate powder.

I add collagen to my smoothies as an easy way to help my hair, skin, nails, and joints! I use vital proteins original collagen peptides. Although I highly recommend adding it, you don’t have to add it in, and you will still get that exact great tasting smoothie!

I also realize that not everybody will have pomegranate powder at the ready, which is fine! The smoothie will still taste great. I also recommend pomegranate powder though because it tastes great and is high in vitamin C and potassium, is a good anti-inflammatory, and can be used in many things! I use Navitas organic pomegranate powder.

If you want to make 2 servings, all you have to do is double each ingredient in the recipe!

This is my go-to daily smoothie and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
